Keystone Precision offers firearms instruction for all skill levels focused on the principles of marksmanship and safe firearms handling. The lead instructor is a retired Army Major with over 25 years of law enforcement experience; who is a certified law enforcement and NRA instructor. LEOSA certified for retired law enforcement firearm credentialing. Instruction is offered in a group setting or individual sessions at both indoor and outdoor ranges.
Our Services

Basic Pistol Course
This is a 7-hour basic introduction to pistol shooting course. It is designed to build confidence and familiarity with pistols. It will cover firearms safety, the principles of marksmanship, determining the appropriate firearm and ammunition for the users intended purpose, and much more. The average breakdown of the class is 60% classroom instruction and 40% range instruction with a student to instructor ratio of 2 to 1. This course is a great opportunity for families and friends to learn basic pistol safety together. No prior firearm experience required; first time users are encouraged to attend.
The course fee is $175 that includes classroom/range instruction, course material, 100 rounds .22 ammunition, rental of a Glock 44 (.22 caliber pistol for the course), targets, and the indoor range at Schuylkill Gun Works. At the conclusion of the live fire exercises, you will have the opportunity to be instructed on use of your gun with your ammunition. Schuylkill Gun Works offers a variety of pistol rentals and ammunition for purchase.

Advanced Pistol Course
This course is a 7-hour advanced pistol course to introduce the experienced gun handler to a more realistic class of gun handling. The emphasis will be on improving firearms safety and management, while improving the student’s ability to engage multiple targets at variety of distances. Prior to taking this course the student should have a working knowledge and good basic safety habits, as this course is to improve handgun management skills and increase your confidence level up to where you will be comfortable in carrying your weapon with you. Must have attended a basic pistol course and provide certificate to participate in this training. The average breakdown of the class is 20% classroom instruction, 40% weapons manipulation, and 40% range instruction with a student to instructor ratio of 2 to 1. This is a physically and mentally demanding course.
The course fee is $200 that includes classroom/range instruction, course material, targets, props/barricades, and the indoor range at Schuylkill Gun Works.

Basic Rifle Course
This is a 7-hour basic introductory course on the use of rifles designed for tactical situations. The course is for the person who wants to understand how their rifle functions, basic rifle marksmanship, and more. The course is designed around the AR-15 platform, but other rifles may be used. The student to instructor ratio is 2 to 1. This course is physically and mentally demanding.
The course fee is $200 that includes classroom/range instruction, course material, targets, props/barricade, and the indoor range at Schuylkill Gun Works.

Individual Instruction and Retired Law Enforcement Certification
Individual pistol and rifle instruction developed specifically to the needs and the wants of the student. Offered at indoor and outdoor ranges.
LEOSA certification to carry for retired law enforcement.

Basic Rifle Course
Full refund requires a 14 day cancellation, prior to the scheduled course date. Cancellation occurring less than 14 days prior to the scheduled course date, without rescheduling a new date, will result in a $50 non-refundable fee. A canceled rescheduled date will forfeit the full amount of the course. No show to a scheduled course will forfeit the full amount of the course.
